HERE’S YOUR DOWNLOAD PAGE FOR THE HEARTY-ARTY SERIES, JUST FOR SUBSCRIBERS!

DAY 8 - THE LAST DAY

Happy Valentine’s Day. Choose your favorite or download them all.

IMG_6720.JPG

I would love to know if you used any of the Hearty-Arty series over these past eight days. Or if you think you might use them. At our house, we got a nice little Valentine from a friend who used a sticker on the back - that was encouraging! - but I’m in the dark as to whether any of this is useful to the rest of you. (Or even, were there any download or printing problems that I could resolve on my end?) Let me know by clicking the link at bottom (Contact Me), commenting in the regular blog, or sending a separate email (oneredchair@gmail.com). In the meantime, this series will be up until the end of March. Be sure to download anything you would like before March 31, when some new freebies will go up. (When we’ll celebrate spring! woo-ha!)

And, once again, thank you a whole lot for subscribing to my site. And, please tell others!

DAY 7

how love thee 5 x 7.jpg

How about a quick book from printer paper, construction or scrapbook paper? These hearts were made from wallpaper, wrapping paper, magazine pages, decorated tissue paper, junk mail, and some stamps and stencils. If you would like these specific hearts, they’re in the zip file.

Send your friend or lovey-dovey a postcard. Two versions here, 4 x 6 inches, each with a front and back. Print ‘em out, glue ‘em down on some heavy paper, and voila! If you send it, be sure to put a REAL stamp on it!

ENVELOPE DESIGN 1 2 3 4 5 6 TEMPLATE

Use an envelope pattern as a guide for making your own envelopes. So much fun and the possibilities are really limitless: magazine pages, wrapping paper, discarded art pages, junk mail…add a label for the address, put a sticker on the back to close it up, and you have some snail mail (or drop-it-by-the-door) that the recipient (and the mailperson) will love to open. They are keepers.

I’ve included some original artwork from which to cut envelopes and print on regular printer paper, scrapbook paper, or cardstock. The heavier the better, but plain old printer paper works just fine. You can also print it double-sided with a coordinating design to have instant lining.

If you do these often, you’ll find you don’t need a pattern. Wrap the paper around your card, whatever its size, cut flaps on four sides, and you’re good to go.

I’ve also included some faux postage (print as 4 x 6 or 5 x7)) and address labels, (work great on label or sticker paper but ain’t nothin’ wrong with a gluestick!) Depending on the design, you can also write the address directly on the envelope, such as that with the watercolor stripes.

Links for envelope designs and the pattern are at bottom of photos.

DAY 4

a hearty garden

a hearty garden

Today there’s a page to color. It’s the big thing now, you know. This hearty garden might welcome colored pencils, thin markers, or - a real blast from the past - crayons. I wrote a poem about that once.

With the caveat that I do not hold to the notion that anyone is the property of anyone else, well, it’s a Valentine thing, you know? This image is ready for any use. Frame it, make it smaller, enlarge it (it is in 300dpi format), copy it to paper or card. Attach it to some foam board or cardboard and set it against the coffeemaker.

Designed as stickers, these 3 sheets of 12 individual hearts each, can be printed on Avery labels (22807) or cut and glued, the old-fashioned way. Or save 3, 6, or 9 at a time and fashion a card or gift tag. Cutting them down in vertical columns and mounted on card stock can be sweet bookmarks. Download and enjoy.
