Here are some Newsletter updates.

Newsletter? She has a newsletter? Well. No Not yet anyway. But if I did, these would be included.

I know you are probably already celebrating this with a piece o' cake, but, just in case, you forgot, this is anniversary birthday of Charles Alston, an African-American painter (1907-1977).

Oh, yes, and also the birthday of Jean Baptiste Lully, born in 1632. A long time ago. Born in Florence, he is considered the main influence of French baroque music. But you already knew that. Did you know, though, that he had such a quick and volatile temper that, while in a rage,  he struck his own foot with a baton which wound resulted in blood poisoning. And he died from that. Ah, a lesson learned. (Really, his life was pretty interesting as you can read here.)

Sketchbook Skool has a new course coming up for just a few bucks. Hit the link below the image to find out more.

One last thought by another birthday boy today, Randy Newman:

One last note: if you are wanting to order a 2018 calendar(Hula Hoops, Best Friends), inventory of both is getting slim. If you missed it (which I think many of my readers would say is hard to do - yet another wink), all the information you need is on the blog a few posts back or in the shop
