Just one of the Arts of Life.
"When shall we live if not now?"
"The smell of good bread being, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight.... MFK Fisher (title of this animated line drawing is in error)
MFK Fisher was an American food writer, a contemporary and friend of Julia Child, but a prolific and talented writer in her own respect. She was considered an author of "beautiful prose" with a keen sense of humor. She wrote 27 books, most of them about food and eating. Born in Albion, Michigan in 1908, she lived for many years in France - mostly Provence - and other European countries . Two books considered food classics are The Art of Eating and How to Cook a Wolf. She believed that eating well was just one of the "arts of life."
As you can plainly see, I am a fan of MFK Fisher.
I did the line drawing on the Keynote app on an iPad.
