Looking back.
I haven’t meant to be absent so long from the blog. The news that time passes fast isn’t news, but there it is. I’m sharing with you some art I’ve been playing with, some interesting, mostly artsy things I’ve been stashing for the post, and a video.
Meanwhile, I hope this is finding you enjoying your June so far. In the Northwest we’ve had a long, gray spring and it’s been continuing into June, with only occasional June-y (as least as it SHOULD be) days, so we’re eager for the warmth and sunshine. However, looking at the heat elsewhere, I’ll always opt for cool; I’m a real wimp in the heat. And the garden is loving the rain. (Well, a few sun-loving plants are crying foul.)
And the peonies are busting out. Is there anything more fun than watching a peony grow up?
I have been dabbling in the studio. Not producing any great works of art but just playing. Finding an online class or two I haven’t spent enough time with, ruminating over next year’s calendar theme (circles? chickens? still life? Artist’s gardens? Hmmm….)
Having just completed my 100 Day Project (Yay!) - and admittedly it took a bit more than 100 days but oh so what? - I’d love if you’d look at them all over at my Instagram site here. I’ll be using a few favorites to make some postcard sets at the shop. Would love your input. The video below captures the ten that received the most “likes” and I snuck in a few more of my personal favorites. Note: I neglected in the video to give credit to the audio. It is Universe of Two by Film and the BB’s. As long as I don’t monetize my videos, I have permission to use it.
