Remembering Inge.
I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.
- Charles R. Swindoll
I’m restless these days. Can’t put my finger on it. I flit from here to there in books, on artwork; I don’t think I’ve finished a book or movie stream in weeks.
Maybe I just need sunshine. Maybe it’s time flying by me and I can’t clutch it and sit on it so it can’t move.
But I do know that, come this day each year, I think of my friend. I can’t let an April 19, her birthday, go by without remembering my childhood friend and next-door neighbor. I still find it hard to believe she no longer is around with that dimply smile and teeny little bit of German cynicism.
You can read my original post about her here, when I learned she was gone.
Thanks for indulging me.
