Potter

Beatrix Potter of rabbit fame, like many artists, had other interests besides cute bunnies.

Pussycats

I think this is SO COOL.

(PS: The pussycat wins.)

And, these monkeyshines:

More news on the pussycat front. As I may have mentioned, one of our new cats was extremely shy when we adopted him. He retreated in his little room at the shelter when we tried to gently touch his paw. A previous temporary kitty caregiver wrote that he had once been friendly, but was abandoned in his apartment; we took the plunge. In the first week, he was in the bathtub for a few days, then a bathroom corner, then onto a dark bookshelf, partially hidden, and finally out into the rest of the house. Where he began to bloom. There was much to inspect. Now I can say FUR SHUR, he is curious, playful, and mischievous, taunts Ava who pretends she doesn’t love it, and is a very fine member of the family. And quite handsome. The meowing/howling has gone away. We love them both. Send out rays of good health for them; we’ve had enough of vets and tests!
