You can travel to Switzerland...

A signpost on the Lopez Island beach with the aforementioned quirky sculptures (see my previous post.) Methinks the neighborhood has been quite busy.

I have been told by another Lopezee that it's not really private, but it works to call it so. 

You can travel to Switzerland,
A mere five thousand mile,
But Aberdeen is closer
And Scotland does beguile.
For desert heat (and little else)
There’s Yuma azz of course
Or walk two miles on down the road
To spit with no remorse.
The ferry dock’s around the corner
But ah! I must now mention
That if you have these spots in mind,
They’re the opposite direction!
Think not of Lebanon as foreign
It’s actually northwest Oregon
And leave your cowboy stuff behind…
It’s Dallas OR we have in mind
So many places there are to reach. 
Except, my friends, this  private beach.
