Heart-y with a dash of sad

Who doesn’t love Valentine’s Day, a chance to express love and friendship to those we love and admire? But for me, for several decades now, it comes with a tinge of sadness and regret. So, to practice a skill I am learning in an online class on portraits - one of my favorite subjects - I drew a face from my life - to remember a day that shaped the rest of it.
