Massachusetts patrician family.
Of an urban center.
Second of nine.
Life cut short

Nineteen sixty-three.
He molded my youthful politics
Into passionate, steadfast beliefs.

Nineteen twenty
Born into struggling
Nebraskan farming family,
In a tiny community.
Youngest of eleven.
Life ebbed out
June 25
Twenty o three.
She chiseled my youthful independence
Into confident, lifelong self-reliance.
