June’s busting out all over

The garden is taking off. It always amazes me how plants can all look so dang dead one month (Hello February) and bright, green, and perky the next. The perennials are already at the Whoa! Nellie! stage; they really like it up here in the Pacific Northwest.

The garden has grown from this:

to this…(Isn’t Mother Natural Grand?)

Nothing unique about our garden, but happy to see it, since it won’t be “two” until July 1.

I planted lots of wildflowers because I like the English Garden look. Translated: not very organized or planned.

I have been on a hiatus with my 30-Day Learning Challenge, having been occupied with 1) the commissioned painting of a pup, 2) the redesign of the blog and 3) the buying of a car and all that entails. After much research, a few test drives, and various changes-of-mind, (Does it sometimes seem that you will NEVER make a decision once you start listening to everyone’s opinions?)…I have a new Subaru Forester that I love. I go in and out of it hourly just to get a whiff of the new car smell. (I’m kidding about that. Sort of.). I posted on Facebook my good-bye to an old friend, though:

And, I’ve been very busy 1) cleaning out the closet and giving stuff away 2) organizing the studio and 3) cleaning out the junk on the computer. Said. Me. Never.

Come back tomorrow for the video of recent trip to Bainbridge Art Museum. You will not be sorry, dear friends.
