A Day at the Museum
As promised, here’s a video that summarizes a visit to the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. (The link has a nice video of its design and features). Admission is free at this museum, which, besides special exhibits, has a room devoted to a changing collection of artists’ books. It has a cool gift store and restaurant and sits at the end of Winslow Way, a street of bookstores, gift and home shops, and art galleries. Restaurants sit at the water where you can watch the ferries go in and out. The museum is a short walk away from where the ferry lands, a great day excursion from Seattle. For us, a longer trip, but one I always enjoy.
Below the video, find some student art that we happened upon on the avenue that knocked my socks off.
